Erin Tibe is Senior Counsel at Sandler Reiff Lamb Rosenstein & Birkenstock, P.C., primarily focused on compliance with domestic and foreign lobbying disclosure requirements and federal, state and local campaign finance laws.
Erin advises federal, state, and local candidates and political committees; state parties; ballot measure committees; labor unions; 501(c)(3) and (c)(4) organizations and for-profit corporations on complex campaign finance laws. Erin also guides non-profit organizations through the formation process, including incorporation, corporate governance issues, and securing tax-exempt status from the IRS.
Erin counsels clients on compliance with federal, state, and local lobbying laws, including the LDA and FARA, and advises on gift and ethics laws.
Prior to joining Sandler Reiff, Erin was Compliance Director for Hillary Clinton’s 2016 Presidential campaign. In this role, Erin advised campaign staff, vendors, and external stakeholders on federal campaign finance laws and regulations. Erin also served as Compliance Director for Alison Lundergan Grimes’s 2014 campaign for the United States Senate in Kentucky. Prior to her time on campaigns, Erin practiced civil litigation in Kentucky.
Erin graduated from the University of Kentucky College of Law where she was inducted into the Order of the Coif. During law school, she also served on the staff of the Kentucky Law Journal. Prior to law school, Erin graduated magna cum laude from Xavier University.
Erin is a member of the bars of the District of Columbia and Kentucky.
